Terms of Service
Last updated 12 September 2026. By using Goated Build Lab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What this is
Goated Build Lab is a planning tool for NBA 2K27 MyPLAYER builds. It models attribute ceilings, cap breaker ladders, badge requirements and related mechanics so you can work a build out before committing to it in game.
It is a model, not the game. It is built to be exact and is tested against the game's own behavior, but it can be wrong, it can fall behind a patch, and community-sourced figures such as animation requirements are not guaranteed. Decisions you make in game — spending VC, cap breakers, badge tokens or time — are yours. Check anything that matters before you commit to it.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
- Give a real email address; account recovery depends on it.
- One person per account. Do not share logins or resell access.
- You must be at least 13 years old to make an account.
3. Acceptable use
Handles, bios, gamertags, profile pictures, build names and notes are visible to other people. Do not post:
- hate speech, slurs, or content attacking people for who they are;
- harassment, threats, or content targeting a specific person;
- sexual content involving minors, or anything else illegal;
- spam, advertising, scams, malware, or links to any of those;
- impersonation of another person, or of this site.
Do not attack the service itself: no attempts to break authentication or reach other people's private data, no automated hammering of the site or its API, and no scraping that degrades it for everyone else.
Content that breaks these rules can be removed, and accounts that post it can be suspended or deleted, without notice. This is a small independent site, moderation is by hand, and there may be a delay before something is noticed. If you find something that breaks these rules, report it to GoatedStudiosOfficial@gmail.com and it will be looked at.
4. What is free
The builder itself — attribute ceilings, cap breaker ladders, badge requirements, the 99 wall, archetype names, saved builds within the free limit — is free and is intended to stay free. Paid tiers buy the search, the solvers and the higher limits. They do not buy accuracy that free users are denied.
5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Paid tiers are sold as a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy.
- It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time, from Manage subscription in the site, which opens Stripe's own billing portal. Cancelling is a couple of clicks and needs no email to us.
- When you cancel, your paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account drops to free. Your saved builds are not deleted; if you are over the free limit you simply cannot save new ones until you are under it again.
- Payments already made are not refunded in part, including for time left after you cancel. If something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or the service was broken for you — email GoatedStudiosOfficial@gmail.com and it will be put right.
- If a price changes, existing subscribers are told before it applies to them, and can cancel first.
- If a payment fails, access drops to free until it succeeds.
6. Your builds and your content
What you write — build names, notes, your bio — and any picture you upload stays yours. By uploading a profile picture you allow us to store it and show it next to your handle; remove it and that permission ends. Upload only pictures you have the right to use. By publishing or sharing a build you allow us to store and display it on the site, including in the community list, so the feature can work. Make a build private or delete it and that permission ends.
Build codes describe game mechanics and are not claimed as anyone's property. Publishing a build means other people can load and copy it — that is the point of sharing it.
7. The site's own content
The site, its design and its code are the operator's. Please do not copy the site wholesale or resell access to it.
NBA 2K27, its data, its names and its trademarks belong to Take-Two Interactive and its affiliates. They are referred to here for the purpose of describing and discussing the game, which is what makes the tool useful. No ownership of them is claimed, and no part of this site is authorised by them. If a rights holder objects to anything here, email GoatedStudiosOfficial@gmail.com and it will be addressed promptly.
8. Copyright, and how to have something taken down
People publish builds, names, handles, bios and avatars here, and this site does not review them before they appear. If you hold the rights to something that has been posted and you want it removed, email GoatedStudiosOfficial@gmail.com with:
- what the work is, and where it is on this site — a link is best;
- your name, address and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them;
- your signature, physical or electronic.
Material covered by a valid notice is removed, and the person who posted it is told what was removed and why. If your material was taken down and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with the equivalent information and it may be restored.
Accounts that repeatedly infringe other people's rights are terminated. Notices are recorded against the account, and a repeat offender loses the account rather than just the post.
This is the same address as the rights-holder contact in section 7, and anything sent to it is read by the operator.

9. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate, and it may change or go away.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost time, or anything lost in game. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid in the twelve months before it arose — which is nothing if you use the free tier.
Some states do not allow some of these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time, and can ask for your account to be deleted by emailing us. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 3, or withdraw the service entirely — in which case any subscription then running will not be billed again.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by emailing us first belongs in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and the operator each agree to that venue.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the consumer protection law of the place you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
13. Changes
These terms can change; the date at the top changes with them. A material change affecting price or your rights will be announced on the site, and continuing to use it afterwards means you accept the new version.
